This is the first game that is original that took me just over about two weeks. I originally made this page as an open world 2D game called "Adventurer." This game was supposed to be a HUGE thing. But after awhile I had to deal with school work. So I sadly drifted away from game development. But after a while I came back. But I decided to not continue Adventurer as that was way too big of a project for a starter like me. So I made an asteroid clone. After that I decided to come back to this page but to change it up a bit. That's when I made "Linked-Together." This too was supposed to be a HUGE game with 30 levels. But I decided that, that was way too much and decided to make it a learning experience instead of a game. So I did what I wanted to learn. Made two player controls, sound effects (I made most of them myself. The Coin effect was from the internet), And a whole bunch more. I got my brother to make a main theme which he went EXTREAMELY over board. I wanted to add a bunch of other stuff to but I never knew how and kept coming up with dead ends. For example I wanted to make a platform which you had to step on for the other player to continue and let you pass as well. But I never figured out how. I tried to use ChatGPT for that but it did not work. Heck when I tried to use ChatGPT for any part of scripting it kept getting errors. Another reason to do it yourself I guess. I almost gave up on the project a few times matter a fact. But I pushed through and finished it. So here is "Linked-Together." I am going to work on another project starting on Monday. For now I will take a break.
